Both institutions also explored opportunities for specialized training, professional development, joint research and knowledge exchange to enhance their personnel’s technical capacity.
During the discussions, both institutions considered establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide a formal framework for sustained cooperation, define priority areas of engagement and facilitate mutually beneficial initiatives.
The proposed collaboration reflects the importance of institutional partnerships in applying meteorological expertise to national security, strengthening professional capacity and supporting Nigeria’s broader development objectives.
