No Concession Agreement Has Been Cancelled Under Tinubu Government-ICRC
The Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession & Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh says since the advent of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, no concession agreement has been cancelled.
He said rather than cancel agreements that had been signed, some of them have been restructured for better results.
Speaking at the Nigeria Aircraft Acquisition and Investment Summit (NAAIS) held in Lagos Nigeria, Ewalefoh said that for Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) to succeed, risks must be allotted to parties that are best to manage them.
He said Nigeria is currently being confronted with significant infrastructure deficit worth over an estimated N2.3 trillion and that there has been over 15 PPP projects within the last two years and few months of the present administration.
